About Us

Turning Passion Into Action to Heal Trauma

The Grace Tree Foundation and Soma Collective are committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our platform to help those recover from trauma symptoms in our community. Since 2014, we’ve been supporting our community in a variety of ways, measuring our success not by monetary size but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts to help those in the under-served community of San Antonio and surrounding areas, who normally would not be able to attend or afford our services. Just imagine what we can achieve together!

Together with licensed mental health and certified professionals we make up an organization like no other. Grace Tree was the first trauma sensitive and somatic movement organization in the trenches serving as servant leader volunteers, this is what passion looks like in Bexar County. Knowing the importance of the gifts we have been entrusted with, and in many cases our volunteers have experience first hand trauma recovery to serve trauma survivors with open hearts and true empathy. One of our training mentors put it very simply "You Can Not Keep What You Have Without Giving it Away!" -Nikki Myers
