Community Trauma Outreach
The Grace Tree Project
With our Vision always in mind, we strive to find new education and training strategies to bring services where our communities need them the most. Our "Community Trauma Movement Outreach" program was first in San Antonio and is something that we take very seriously. Our organization works each day to make a positive impact embracing grace, dignity, and respect working with trauma survivors, families and supporters. Grace Tree is honored to deliver trauma informed care, education, and recovery somatic movement programming to underserved communities. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.
Education on Trauma Affects in our Families and Community
We are dedicated to stepping up efforts providing recovery to help ease trauma ravaging effects. This is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation of national and community support we believe we can facilitate much progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference in lives who deal with trauma as individuals, within families and community. We invite you to learn more and lend us your support.
Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Mindfulness
Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TSY) is an empirically validated, adjunct clinical intervention for complex trauma or chronic, treatment-resistant post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This mindful movement modality was researched and developed at the Trauma Center in Brookline, Massachusetts, since 2003. The Grace Tree Initiative brings our commitment full circle by providing trauma education, training, awareness, and evidence-based Somatic and Trauma Sensitive Yoga to restore and empower trauma survivors. The results gain a restored nervous system, and neurobiological regulation.
